How did that happen?
June already.
As you may have guessed I’m taking part in 30 days wild again with the wildlife trusts.
Although this year off to a somewhat soggy start.
With the half term holiday in full swing and the weather quite frankly miserable I must confess it was somewhat challenging to get my wild on today.
So easy to hibernate indoors with a steaming mug of coffee, a blanket and the heating on. Seriously?
Are you really sure it’s June?
However with a stir crazy hound charging about the house after his favourite flower pot, *shrugs* and if I’m honest the children’s eyes were starting to develop corners… It really was time to get outside, whatever the weather.
Figuring we were going to get wet anyway we may as well embrace it, make it fun and make a proper good job of it.
A riverside walk via a local cattle creep, it doesn’t take much to flood the area so hopefully all the ingredients for a whinge free walk. (I can dream.)
It’s not too late if you want to sign up, just click here to join in.
This year there’s a fab little app to give you plenty of inspiration for your daily dose of wild.
Looks like a fab time, beautiful pics too.

Signed up to force me off my sofa and because the first 5 days will be easy as we’re out walking everyday in sunny holiday spots! I imagine my success will go downhill after the 6th…

Hooray!
Hopefully it will help to keep the post holiday blues away. The app is great for quick and easy inspiration. 😊

They’ve emailed me the ‘inspiration’ cards – I’ll have to download the app too 😊 Although, this probably means I’ll not be indulging in the ‘switch off technology’ suggestions!

Not heard of the 30 days wild thing, I’ll check out the links. I have cycled 28 miles and walked 9 miles since Sunday and cycled quite a bit of the North Wales coastal cycle way last week. Makes a change but we’ve had quite nice weather the last two weeks.

Ooh lots of miles covered. We’ve had a few weeks of dull, grey weather with a few days of downpours for good measure. The sun at last though seems to have finally broken out. Hooray!
