One Lovely Blog

A great big Thank you to two rather lovely ladies who have both nominated me for the lovely blog award.

I was kindly nominated by the lovely Tara who blogs over at after the rain. I’m determined to make her a geocacher! 😉 And also from Battlemum who has possibly the best avatar I’ve yet to come across.

Sorry ladies I’ve been a bit slack getting this out but hey, what’s new?!

Anyway here’s 7 things you might not know about me.

1. I’m a wannabe ninja. I love combat and even better Fight klub where I actually get to punch things. Awesome!

2. I love the colour blue.

3. I don’t watch TV. I’m all about the Internet, books and maybe an occasional flirtation with Netflix.

4. I have a Christmas birthday. It sucks. Don’t have babies at Christmas people.

5. I bake a mean cake but hate to cook. Fish fingers anyone?

6. I don’t actually like mud. Shocking hey?!

7. One day I’m going to run off into the sunset with Hugh Jackman, he just doesn’t know it yet… 😉

But at least now my husband does…. 😯
So now for nominations, if you fancy taking part…..

Life Is a Lil CrAzY

A thousand finds

Robbinn Geocaching

Wide Ranging Ramblings
Apologies if you’ve already been nominated…

  2. Thanks for the nomination! I’m still kind if a newbie so I’m going to wait a week or two to decide who to nominate. Especially since I can’t nominate you now 😉

    1. You’re welcome. I’m always a bit wary of these types of posts but they undoubtably bring different blog traffic – which can never be a bad thing! No rush, it took me the best part of a month to get mine out 🙂

  3. I enjoyed reading about the Christmas birthday! Mine is Dec 4, 3 weeks before Christmas, which is enough time that people don’t dare trying to give you “combined birthday-Christmas gifts.” But my brother was born on Dec 27, and his birthday tends to get lost in the shuffle. Not to mention that December was a tough month financially for our parents when we were growing up!
